Thunderbird Park Camping is a campground located in the heart of Tamborine Mountain. It offers stunning views, plenty of peace and quiet, and all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It’s perfect for beginner campers with its toilets and showers and free camp kitchen including a toaster, kettle and microwave. There’s even a cafe (with an amazing pork belly burger) and a restaurant.
They offer a treetop challenge, thunder-egg mining, laser skirmish, mini golf and a daily bird feeing show. There’s also horse and pony rides just next door. With all these activities plus the bush walks and rock pools, there will be no time for the kids to get bored.

To get there, take the Scenic Drive from Gold Coast. The campground is located just off the drive.
What Should I Bring?
When packing for your trip to Thunderbird Park Camping, be sure to bring all the camping essentials, including a tent, sleeping bags, torches, and chairs. You’ll also want to bring food and drinks, as there are no stores at the campground – unless you want to buy all your meals at the cafe or restaurant.
